Pub Table
Pub Tables Are a Wonderful, New Trend
A Pub table also can take up much less space than a traditional dining room table and chairs. With the reduced space available in the dining are a of a kitchen in some flats, or apartments or condominiums, today, a pub table and bar stools may offer the ability to entertain in a much smaller space than a traditional dining room table would allow. Designers many times also use pub tables in a dining area of a kitchen or a breakfast room or area of a home or flat or even condominium, where a traditional dining table would not fit. Pub tables can be made for 2 people or for up to eight people if the space allows. Some pub tables have a leaf which when not in use, slides down under the table top, and never is removed. To use the leaf for a larger dinner, the leaf pops up, into place without having to haul it out of a closet or from under a bed, or even in a pantry. This makes extending the table a one person job, since no one has to carry it to the dining room, and open the table top and then lift and set the leaf into place, as is the normal extending procedure for traditional dining room tables. Dinette tables are another option for an eat-in kitchen area, but most dinettes are out dated and are not as efficient as a pub table used in the same small area. Modern eat-in kitchens seem to appear fresher and more informal than the use of a dinette set used in the same area. Pub tables are more in demand than ever before.
